Mary Ellen’s original paintings in oil offered for sale are shown below. You may click on each photograph for an enlargement and particulars. Most works are painted right around the edges of the wrapped canvas and can be hung as-is, or you may frame them as you choose.
Shipping charges will be added when you “click to buy”. If you do not like the painting after it arrives, you may ship it back within 10 days for a full refund of the price of the painting, once it is received in original condition.
Mary Ellen does commissions. Do you have a favorite photograph of your Maine location? She can render it in oil to suit your fancy, or she would be happy to re-render anything from prior inventory to your specifications. Please look under “SOLD PAINTINGS” below.

Note Cards and Reproductions
Note Cards and Reproductions make wonderful gifts or souvenirs.
The reproductions are an 11″ x 17″ section lifted from each painting. (They are not the whole scene, but an artistic snippet of it,) and the notecards are a reproduction of the same. We offer the notecards in quantities of (1) for $3, (5) for $8, and (10) for $14. All reproductions are $45, and all come in a plastic sleeve for protection. Please add $4 for normal shipping and handling. Foreign shipping based upon location, please inquire.
Giclees
Full sized Giclee reproductions are available for the following paintings only. A Giclee is a sophisticated computer scan that uses thousands of colors to most accurately reproduce an original. Although they are much less expensive than an original painting, you must mat and frame one of these copies to your taste for display. You may contact us for purchase or use the “Buy Now” button through Pay Pal.
