Seanook

A delightful private cottage available for weekly rental on a year round basis for your enjoyment.  You will be immersed in panoramic views of the bay on three sides.

Location

Seanook is located right on the shore of Linekin Bay, two short miles from its mouth with the Atlantic Ocean.  The beaches provide endless hours of pleasure, while our cove affords a semi-sheltered place for swimming.

Fireplace and Water Views

Seanook has four bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen and a dining room.  There is a sunroom, a hot-tub available in the summer, and a fireplace for toasty warm winter evenings!  A washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.

Decks

You'll find your favorite view from one of the four decks at Seanook.  Sit back and enjoy the sea breeze as you chat, read your favorite book, or just sit, when it comes to that.

Sunsets

The day ends with a hush.  Enjoy dinner at Seanook, or avail yourself of one of the many restaurants in the nearby Boothbay area.

Rates
Seanook is rented weekly, Saturday to Saturday exclusively except in Winter

Winter Season
November (except Thanksgiving week) through the first three weeks of May  $1400/week
We also offer per person/per night rates for this period with a TWO NIGHT MINIMUM.   Please see below.

As part of the total rent per week, an $800 non-refundable deposit is required in advance to hold your reservation.   If you have an emergency and are unable to come, we request that you reschedule at another available time, but only up to within 30 days of your arrival.  You are responsible for getting the total balance due to us at least 30 days in advance of your start date.  Otherwise you forfeit your reservation. 

When you get here we will also require you to fill out a "Security Deposit Release" form authorizing us to charge your credit card should there be damage, replacement, or excessive cleaning necessary after your stay.  We will either mail this back to you later, or email you that everything is all-right and destroy it, whichever you prefer.  We do not retain credit card numbers.  If there are charges, we will provide you with an itemized statement.  We are now required to collect a 7% state tax on lodging.  We will figure the correct amount and itemize it in your contract.

Most guests bring their own linens, or they may be rented for $50 per stay ($20 for two people).

SHORTER STAYS
For shorter stays November (except Thanksgiving week) through the first 3 weeks of May we have a 2 night minimum as an alternative to the $1400 weekly flat rate.  We think you will like our per person rates.

For one or two people our rate is $175/night with a $350 two night minimum, or $1150 for a whole week.

For more than two people we charge a basic rate of $250/night with a minimum stay of two nights for $500.  Seanook can sleep up to 8 people.  (Alternatively, you could stay for a week for $1400, or take advantage of our TWO WEEKS special for $2400 IN WINTER. That's half the summer rate!)
