Seanook Rental

CANCELLATION! Availability WEEK OF JULY 25! Please inquire!

Seanook is located in Mid-Coast Maine only three miles from Boothbay Harbor. Our unique spot at the head of Linekin Bay on our own little peninsula affords us water views on three sides including a tantalizing vista to the mouth of the bay and open ocean. It is so close to the water that the tide comes in around and underneath it. Panoramic windows and four decks put you over the water. Being here is like staying on a boat, except it doesn’t rock. Lounge in the hot tub as you watch spectacular sunsets. On a rainy night the pitter-pat on the roof will lull you to sleep. Wake up to the call of seabirds and the sloshing of little waves.  If you want to relax at any season, this is the spot! We welcome a couple as readily as a family or group of friends. Seanook is an ideal place for a small reunion or retreat. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do! Artist studios, gourmet seafood restaurants, antiquing, boating excursions, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and live theatre are some of the activities to be found in this area.  Find out more about Seanook here.

Paradise Cottage Rental

Paradise Cottage from the road

Paradise Cottage is set in the garden and woods on Linekin Bay in Midcoast Maine. We are just three miles from quaint Boothbay Harbor on the next bay east, yet our unique pastoral location makes us feel sequestered from the bustle of town life. When you stay at Paradise Cottage, you can settle in to the ebb and flow of the tides, sunrise and sunset, and the harmony of wildlife teeming around you. If you open your eyes early enough you can watch the lobster boats slip out in the morning. Occasionally a sailboat will pass within view. If the evening is still, you can listen for the distant tones of the fog horns. The twittering of birds and sloshing of waves are your surround sound. March is for owls calling at night. April evenings are joyous with returning laughing gulls and peepers singing from the pond. Yet live theatre, antique shops, gourmet restaurants, boat excursions and art studios are at your fingertips in addition to fishing, kayaking and hiking on the many Boothbay Region Land Trust trails.  Find out more about Paradise Cottage here.

Paradise Studio

Oil Paintings

Mary Ellen TK Serina of Boothbay enjoys capturing lighthouses, lobster boats, sailboats, fishing vessels, docks and dories, rocks and surf. All are part of the lure of Mid-coast Maine and are favorite subjects in her oil seascape paintings. Her special interest is the place where land and sea meet, and she loves to portray the ever-changing moods that weather conjures up along the rocky, wooded shores. Her realistic original art captures the soul of the Maine coast and its unique lighting as seen in and around Boothbay Harbor. Recent visitors have remarked at the clarity and trueness of Mary Ellen’s colors and that her work is peaceful.

To see or buy some of Mary Ellen’s work visit the Paradise Studio page or visit Paradise Studio in person at 70 Paradise Point Rd, East Boothbay, ME.
